District Week!

Monday the 5th was the first round of districts for boys basketball. Our boys had a bye so they did not have to play Monday, but they will be playing tonight at Valley Lutheran at 5:30 against Saginaw Nouvel. Come out and cheer on your rocket boys!

Down Go The Hawks!

Tuesday night all three boys team defeated the Cass City Red Hawks. The varsity score was 73-39. The highest scorer of the game was Kyle Stockmeyer with 21 points, but Stockmeyer had an even greater accomplishment. Last Friday the JV and Varsity boys played the Vassar Vulcans and came out with the win! The final score of the varsity game 56-36 and the highest scorer of the game was Tyler TerBush with 12 points. The boys have two home games coming up, Tuesday they face the Cass City Hawks and Thursday

Rockets Handle the Hatchets

In another Greater Thumb West Conference game, the boys teams of Reese were able to get business done and beat the Hatchets. The Junior Varsity boys pulled out a solid win beating Bad Axe 45-31. On Tuesday, February 6, all three high school boys teams traveled to Nouvel Catholic High School to compete in a triple header. Friday night the boys’ basketball teams traveled to Cass City to take on the Red Hawks as Cass City celebrated their Snowcoming. The freshmen boys were able to grab a win. Last night, January 31, was the annual All-for-a-Cure game where players and coaches from Reese and USA honored those who have fought the battle with cancer. Three Wins on the Road!

The Rocket Boys traveled to Caro to take on the Tigers on Tuesday, January 23. Freshmen won, the JV won, and the varsity won 64-45. Gabe Robinson had the team high of 13 points with Kyle Stockemeyer adding 11 points.  


This past Tuesday the Rocket Boys’ Varsity traveled to Carrollton, falling short 44-51. The very next day, the boys varsity took on the Eagles of Frankenmuth and lost the hard fought battle 52-68. Jack Hirschman and Gabe Robinson both tied for highest scorers with 17 points. The boys are preparing to top off Comehoming week
